Title 42 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, found at A.R.S. Title 42, covers taxation. This title provides the legal framework for the assessment, levy, and collection of most state and local taxes in Arizona, with the major exception of income tax (which is in Title 43). It is primarily administered by the Arizona Department of Revenue and county assessors.
